Help Eliminate Food Waste & Hunger
Are you a major grocery store? Restaurant? Hotel? Caterer? Do you have hundreds of pounds of food on a regular basis? Grocery Rescue may just be for you.
Food cannot have been served to the public and must be temperature controlled. Refrigerated items should be cooled down to 41 degrees or below. Frozen items are to be maintained at less than 32 degrees. Cold food (such as potato salads, pre-cut fruit, etc.) cannot be accepted over 70 degrees. We refuse food that is smelly, slimy, moldy, or wilted.
If your business is ready to be a part of the solution to food waste and hunger, reach out: hello@sharing-hope.org

Worried About Liability?
The Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donation Act protects donors from liability when food and grocery products are donated in good faith to nonprofits who feed those in need.
To be eligible for this protection, food donors must simply abide by State packaging and labeling requirements.
